A breakfast table is provided as well as a larger dining table to the open plan living and dining room which also features a comfortable seating area, a working fireplace, breathtaking lake views and access to the pretty terrace and garden outside. Authentic polished terracotta tiles feature throughout the property providing a perfect balance of Italian style and practical living. The property offers sleeping accommodation for upto 4 guests and comprises an elegantly furnished master bedroom with double bed and direct access to the lake view garden. A second bedroom with Bunk beds ideal for younger guests is also situated in the property and the 2 modern bathrooms are ideal for a small to medium sized party. Once outside guests can enjoy a unique ‘Alfresco’ dining experience on the lake view terrace, which is the ideal place to enjoy delicious local produce and fine Italian wines. During the daytime guests can relax with a book on the sun loungers which are provided for your stay, on the sunny lawn. The views from the garden are breathtaking and feature panoramic views of Lake Como with its lush mountains and serene waters, the local historical townscape and of the famous Isola Comacina, the only island on Lake Como and which is steeped in a colourful history for you to discover during your stay! For greater flexibility guests can additionally rent the first floor property above, known as Apartment (ID: 188) which offers a further 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms so providing comfortable accommodation for a total number of 10 guests. Please Note: The garage provided is only able to accommodate one economic size car and larger cars will have to park in the public parking space outside the residence. Due to its hillside location, we would like to mention that the house is 100m down stone steps from the main road. The location is very peaceful and is an ideal place for a very relaxing holiday. The village of Sala Comacina offers a local bar, bank, recreational ground, a highly regarded waterside restaurant and a romantic lakefront with views to Isola Comacina. Enjoy exploring the cobbled streets and church at a leisurely pace as well as a unique dining experience in the famous restaurant on the Isola Comacina. The views from the village lakeshore make for an idyllic setting and during the summer months it is popular for residents and visitors to swim and go boating in the clean lake water. During the long summer months there are many local festivals to take part in, including Gastronomical feasts, breathtaking firework and light displays and live music concerts. Sala Comacina is ideally located along the accessible western shore in the desirable central part of Lake Como and enjoys easy access by car to the many visitor attractions, including Villa Balbianello in Lenno, Villa Carlotta in Tremezzo and the resort town of Menaggio. The eastern shore Resort towns of Bellagio and Varenna are also easily accessible, being just a 10 minute ferry ride away from the nearest Ferry port in Cadenabbia.
